Tyler began attending Main Street Baptist Church in 2010 as a college student through Campus Ambassadors college ministry. Having a passion for music, he began serving on the Campus Ambassador’s praise team, as well as the praise team for MSBC’s evening services. He graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 2012 with a Bachelors Degree in Music Industry and a Minor in Audio Production, and continued to serve in the music ministry, both as a musician and a sound technician. Tyler joined the MSBC staff as Music Director in 2021, where he strives to help engage the church into deep, meaningful, and genuine worship that is approachable to all generations. Tyler and his wife Abby married in 2016, and have two sons, Django and Jasper. Along with being Music Director at MSBC, he also works as a string instrument repairmen at the Eighth Note Music Store, and teaches private lessons for guitar and ukulele to students of all ages. Tyler is a huge nerd, and loves getting to know people while playing board games and video games with them, especially Dungeons & Dragons.
