Jerod began serving at Main Street Baptist Church in 2013. Prior to coming to MSBC, he served as a volunteer in youth ministry in Yardley, PA. His love for ministering to teenagers stems from his experience as a teenager in youth group and Young Life in Burbank, CA, where he grew up and also volunteered. Jerod holds his B.S. in Bible from Cairn University. His desire is to build relationships with students in the Oneonta area, spread the good news of Jesus, and connect many students to the Church. Jerod, along with his wife, Jocelyn, and their two children, Joshua and Addisyn, enjoy hikes, playing board games, or simply reading together. He loves movies such as Braveheart, The Dark Knight, and Star Wars. He also loves peanut butter, almost every sport, and an eclectic variety of music.
